Tough Mama is based in Columbia, SC featuring the dynamic vocals of Julia Beckham [ Family Jones Band] and Jennifer McCallister [Stillhouse].  Backing up this very dynamic duo is the well paired combination of Barton Beckham on guitar and vocals [Mescaline Man, Mountain Express, Family Jones Band] and Mike Mahoney on Bass [New Potato Caboose, Radio Mosaic, Stillhouse]) and - when we can get him - Scott Hilton on Drums [Fossil Record].

Tough Mama plays a very wide variety of music from folk to Americana, gospel, rock and roll, country and blues.  Artists covered include The Band, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Jerry Jeff Walker, Aretha Franklin and many, many more.
